Indian director, producer and actor Aamir Khan is one of the more popular Bollywood actors around.

He was born into a film family on March 14, 1965 to film produce Tahir Hussein who just died early February 2010. Most people first saw him on screen at age 8 then as an adult in the 1984 Holi. 

He has continued to act with lots of commercial success. He got into production in 2001 continuing his successful run with Lagaan for which he won numerous awards. In 2007 he entered into the realm of directing with Taare Zameen Par in which he also acted. 

Some Bollywood lovers think he is India's best method actor. Sexy AK has a legion of fans in India and around the world. He and Shahrukh (SRK) are embroiled in a delicious media hype fabricated tense interplay. Women love him although he has been married twice, first to Reena Dutta and then to Kiran Rao.
